A very light weight, bare bone slab… One pickup, one volume and one tone… sometimes it’s all you need. Plays beautifully with chunky neck typical of Kay models of the era. The Cheese grater pickup delivers a thumpy, gritty blues and rock tone like no others.

A rare beautifully built to highest standards, light and resonant, with a clear articulate P90, with plenty of mids, great clean tone, and breaks up amazingly with gain. very comfortable and easy to play with an early 60’s C profile, similar to that ‘61 SG feel, and thanks to a less steep headstock angle.

all original, apart the new celluloid tortoise guard, cut in house to match the original, as it had rot away

comes with its Hard Case, which is not in prefect conditions, but does its job, has the mojo and looks very cool.

This is a great little guitar from 1964, as the serial number suggests, vintage cream white, in insanely clean conditions and working order.

the switch its a tone bypass, and has one volume and tone.

its the perfect guitar for a slide blues player, the insanely hot Supro soapbar pickup, delivers some of the hottest blues driven tone I’ve ever heard.

Penncrest branded, Kay Speed Demon K573, Great blues player, Three speed bump pickups with independent Volume and Tone. Added Bigsby B3 with 50’s type stationery arm, upgraded double action truss rod, for better neck adjustment, newly fretted in medium jumbo to substitute the old brass.

the bakelite pickguard had split at some point but has been professionally repaired and its solid.

comes with non original, but vintage era correct hard case.

great small amp by Silvertone, the 1481 has a warm blues tone, raw and grittw when the volume is pushed thanks to the low wattage, 5w and 1X8” speaker, perfect for recordings, or intimate jam sessions.
